This aviation grease is a type of special anti-freezing and high-heat grease which is used as an aviation lubricant of friction units of precision instruments in aviation, electromechanic and other equipment. This aviation grease remains effective for a long time within the temperature range from -60°С to +90°С. Aviation grease is suitable for friction units of all types and it does not thicken under high temperatures or during storage. It has a guaranteed shelf life of 5 years.

TsIATIM-201 (GOST 6267-74) is a soft aviation grease that is in yellow color or light brown color which is the main frost-resistant aviation grease of Russian of production. Li-lubricants can be applied at temperatures up to 150 °C, the aviation grease is efficient at a temperature not above 80 — 90 °C. According to low-temperature characteristics TsIATIM-201(Ciatim-201) aviation lubricant is one of the best in the world. It is capable to keep working capacity to — 60 °C and below.

At mechanical influence this aviation oil quite strongly collapses, losing strength and viscosity. As a part of TsIATIM-201(Ciatim-201) there is an antioxidant. TsIATIM-201 isn't condensed under the influence of the increased temperatures and at storage, it is condensed when the storage time oil that is emitted worsens its properties. Because of low colloidal stability, it is rational to package TsIATIM-201(Ciatim-201) aviation lubricants in a container with a capacity no more than 1 l.
