OKB-122-7-5 aviation grease
Characteristics. TU 38 101588—75
For bearings in various devices and friction units of machines
Knots of friction of precision instruments
Temperature range -70 ° С to +50 ° С
OKB-122-7-5 grease (TU 38 101588—75) is created on the basis of OKB-122-7 grease and is seldom used. In all respects OKB-122-7 and OKB-122-7-5 lubricants are identical, OKB-122-7-5 differs only in low concentration of ceresin. Use of OKB-122-7-5 lubricant at temperatures is lower — 30 °C are impossible, and the temperature range of use (from — 30 to 80 °C) is too narrow and limits use of OKB-122-7-5 grease which is replaced with OKB-122-7 lubricant and other more widespread lubricants.
The main replacement of OKB-122-7-5 is 132-08 silicon organic oil, thickened ceresin and lithium soap of stearin acid which is used for bearings in various devices and frictional units of cars, frictional units of the precision instruments working at temperatures from -70 °C to +50 °C. Grease oil 132-08 (old OKB-122-5) represents a mixture of polyethylsiloxane PES-4 liquid (GOST 13004-77) and mineral oils (GOST 21743-76).
