Graphics computer that allows the display of weather radar plus the location of waypoints listed in an active flight plan from a compatible nav receiver or system
Interfaces with RDS-81, RDS-82, RDS-84 or RDS-86 Radar Systems
Will receive navigation data from KNS-660, KLN-88, KLN-90, KLN-90B, KLN-900, or GNS-XLS Flight Management System
Second LNAV can be added such as KNR-634A, KDM-706A or DM-441B combination
Includes two separate modes of operation as computer can display NAV 1 or NAV 2 in weather overlay or as a nav information only display
Nav information can be viewed in a 360 degree display format with the indicator in weather mode or in standby
Also displayed on radar display from graphics computer is active waypoint name, selected course bearing, cross track data, and aircraft position (radial to & distance) from active waypoint
Joystick control provided to position new waypoint on screen at any location
Two checklist modes available for complete checklist capability
Normal and emergency checklists are entered into the system memory using the KA-68 or KA-68A programmers
Various versions available with black/gray bezel color, 5 or 14/28V lighting, and interface capabilities (see table below)
