The aviation turbine oil is a 7.5 mm/s synthetic mixed ester aviation oil that contains a thickener and aviation oil additives that provides an excellent load carrying, thermal and oxidation stability.
AeroShell Turbine Oil 750 is mixed with ester aviation oil that contains a thickener and aviation oil additives. The aviation oil provides an excellent load carrying, thermal and oxidation stability. It can meet the requirements of DERD 2487 (now DEF STAN 91-98), this aviation oil is used to provide a high standard of aviation lubricants in British civil gas turbines.
AeroShell Turbine Oil 750 was developed to be able to meet the requirements of DERD 2487 (now DEF STAN 91-98) and to be able to provide a high standard of
aviation lubricants in British civil gas turbines, particularly turboprop engines where a good load carrying
aviation turbine oil was required for the propeller reduction gearbox. With an outstanding result from the aviation oil analysis, the Turbine Oil 750 was approved by the Russian authorities as an analogue to
MN-7.5u and for those Russian turboprop applications that are required to use the mixtures of
aviation mineral oil and aircraft piston engine oil. The aviation oil should not be used in contact with incompatible seal materials and it also affects some paints and plastics because the aviation turbine oil contains a synthetic ester oil.
High Viscosity Index Synthetic Base Fluids used in
Turbine Oil 750 has maintained a viscosity and has protected the components more effectively under the high shear stresses that a turbine system can place on the aviation lubricants.
The outstanding high temperature and oxidation stability of
AeroShell Oil 750 is a result from the natural properties of the synthetic mixed esters used. These fluids are clean running in that they tend to dissolve varnish and sludge rather than leave deposits on working surfaces. A reason why it is considered as the
best aviation oil. The excellent load carrying qualities of
AeroShell 750 are demonstrated by the IAE Gear Test and it passed against the
DEF STAN 91-98 specification.
The combination of additives used in
AeroShell Turbine Oil 750 prevents the formation of oxidation products and provide the superior load carrying properties required to maintain effective lubrication throughout. AeroShell Turbine Oil 750 was approved for its use in the industrial and marine versions of certain aero-engines listed in this leaflet. AeroShell Turbine Oil 750 MSDS indicates that it should not be used with incompatible seal materials, certain paints and plastics. Since it is harmful and irritant, it is recommended that users should avoid contact with the skin since it may cause sensitization through skin contact. The users should wear the adviced Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for industrial applications.
A customer has claimed his
review of the product: “This is the best aviation oil because it has been proven to be the most technically and commercially successful aviation turbine oil. Not to mention, it has a reasonable price thus with this product quality performance can be reached. I suggest, you should contact your aviation oil distributors for assistance.”
