K-17 conservation oil
Characteristics. GOST 10877-76
Conservation of internal combustion engines without disassembly
Additive for high-sulfur gas turbine fuels
Reduces engine corrosion
K-17 Conservation Aviation Oil is a high-quality
aircraft oil that acts as an additive compound to high-sulfur gas-turbine fuels (0.002% of fuel volume). This aviation oil is also very effective in the reduction of engine corrosion. Its formulation consists of transformer T-1500U and
MS-20 aviation oil, together with SKB-45 rubber, oxidized petrolatum, and additive compounds.
The use of
K-17 aircraft oil greatly lowers the risk of engine corrosion, while also increasing the functioning period between repairs. It helps in the preservation of internal combustion engines without the risks of dismantling, switched-off filters, merging with regular oil and settling of surplus oil.
K-17 Conservation Aviation Oil is designed for lengthy inter-operational production storage of 5 years or longer. It is a viscous oil with a brownish shade. The viscosity of this aircraft oil varies depending on the temperature.
When using
K-17 Aviation Oil as a conservation
oil, the initially removed oil must first be reactivated by the technician. K-17
Conservation Aviation Oil is great for long-term protection of nonferrous and ferrous metals from atmospheric corrosion.
