MobilGrease 28 is a high-performance anti-wear
aviation grease that helps an aircraft run smoothly and be protected from wearing caused by friction. It is a wax-free mixture with the combined properties of an organo-clay (non-soap) thickener and a polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluid. Widely used by the military, this aircraft grease has reduced heat build-up and low sliding friction which saves energy. aviation grease may be used on certain naval ships given the approval of the manufacturer. The recommended temperature range when operating using Mobilgrease 28 is from -54°C to 177°C (-65°F to 350°.F).
