Its excellent lubricating property and adequate water resistance make it one of the best aviation oil to use in the roller bearings of electrical machines, such as aircraft starter-generators, and electro-gas generators.

SEDA Aviation Grease increases the swelling capacity of nitrile and siloxane-base rubbers. It is also used in aircraft loaded with light bearings, and has a temperature range of -60°C to 120°C. This aviation lubricant is composed of esters and calcium soap thickened complex. It is also mixed with antiwear and antioxidant additives making it a top choice for aviation oil. It is considered as an improved alternative to the VNII NP-207.
